This all comes down to your current hair loss situation. The goal of scalp micropigmentation with long hair is to conceal the thinning areas and bring back that full, thick head of hair.
This is only possible with sufficient hair density and volume, this will enable it to still look natural. This is achieved by closely matching the pigment with your hair colour and scalp and filling in between the thinning areas.

Hair transplants are serious surgery and for many clients, whether they choose FUT or FUE there is scarring on the back of the head as a result of surgery.
FUT hair transplant is a thin strip removed from the donor region.
FUE hair transplant is were each hair graft is removed from the donor region one by one, using a punch tool. This client of ours had FUE scarring which was straight forward for us to camouflage.

After each session of SMP you can go straight back to work. There will be a bit of redness that subsides in 24hrs. You can were a hat straight after the session if you are working in a dusty atmosphere or out in the sun. But you need to avoid heavy sweating while its healing.
The cost for Scalp Micropigmentation at My Transformation will depend on the amount of hair-loss that you are suffering.

You will be looking at 3 sessions of scalp micropigmentation to complete your hair-loss transformation. We have people back for a 4th to check them over maybe do some touch ups and take some healed photo’s.
Scalp Micropigmentation gives the look of a shaven head of hair or a fuller looking head of hair. Your treatment will be undetectable, only the people you choose to tell and My Transformation will know.
This is dependent on the amount of hair loss. As a general rule, you will be looking at 3 or 4 sessions over a 6-8 week period. Each session can last 2-4 hours.
No. We use different pigments, inks, machines, needles and techniques. Scalp Micro Pigmentation is a specialist field of its own and requires a highly experienced technician to achieve great results.
No not at all, as the depth of the needle is only into the upper dermis, if anything the treatment has been known to stimulate hair growth.
For best results you would need the treatment to dry heal for 5 days after each treatment. So this would mean avoiding sweat, water and any sorts of creams, lotions etc….
After this period you can slowly increase activity.
Most people say it feels a bit itchy scratchy when its being applied, very few people experience any pain. We advise clients to have eaten and be in good health on the days of treatment.
