Medical Conditions That Prohibit Scalp Micropigmentation

What Prohibits Scalp Micropigmentation

At My Transformation we would like to help everyone with hair loss problems.

But there are a few medical conditions that prevent us being able to help you.

Here is a list of things that prohibit SMP:

  •  Blood Clots
  • Liver Disease
  • Pregnancy & Nursing Mothers
  • Albinism
  • Undergoing Chemotherapy
  • Epilepy
  • Undergoing Antibiotic Therapy
  • Prescription Skin
  • Medication For Acne
  • Bruising
  • Diabetes
  • Undergoing Blood Thinning Therapy
  • Infectious Diseases (HIV / Hepatitis )
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Under The Influence Of Alcohol
  • Heart Disease
  • Under The Influence Of Drugs
  • Sunburn
  • Cuts / Abrasions

We always wear disposable non-latex gloves because there are clients that are allergic to latex.

With hypertension clients that have high blood pressure may be taking blood thinning medications, which will thin there blood.

So they bleed more than normal, bleeding must be kept to a minimum.

Blood will dilute the pigment and therefore effect the colour of the scalp.

Also thicker scabs are likely to form and affect the end result.

We will not tattoo over any skin defect psriasis, rashes, abnormal skin textures, moles, dermatitus or infections.

If you have any of the above you would need a doctors note to say it is OK for us to proceed with the scalp micropigmentation.
